Huangshan & Thousand Island Lake

The scenery is often the subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature. Some notable attractions on Huangshan include the “Welcoming Pine,” the “Flying Over Rock,” and the “Bright Summit Peak.” The area is also known for its unique-shaped rocks, hot springs, and ancient villages.

Thousand Island Lake (Qiandao Lake) is located in Chun’an County, Zhejiang Province, in eastern China. It is a man-made lake formed after the construction of the Xin’an River Hydropower Station. The lake is known for its crystal-clear waters and numerous small islands, giving it the name “Thousand Island Lake.”
