In the heart of Bali lies Bedugul, where the Ulun Danu Temple floats ethereally on the calm waters of Beratan Lake. Surrounded by lush mountains, the temple appears as if it’s hovering on the water, offering a peaceful sanctuary away from the world. The cool mountain air and the tranquil setting invite a deep sense of calm and reflection.

Tanah Lot, one of Bali’s most iconic temples, stands majestically on a rocky outcrop amidst the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple is famous not only for its breathtaking sunset views but also for its unique connection with the natural elements. The sight of the temple at sunset, with the sky ablaze in vibrant colors, is an unforgettable experience. Nearby, the holy black-and-white snakes hidden among the coral reefs add a touch of mystery to this sacred site, believed to be protectors of the temple.

Destination Highlights

  • Day 1: Arrival – Uluwatu Temple (D)
    Upon arrival, meet and greet by a local representative. Visit Uluwatu Temple, a holy ancient temple located 250 feet above sea level on the cliff’s southern point, known as Pura Luhur. BBQ dinner will be provided at a local restaurant in Jimbaran Bay (seafood). Transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • Day 2: Bedugul – Tanah Lot (B/L/D)
    Breakfast at the hotel. This program includes a visit to Bedugul (Ulun Danu Floating Temple). Ulun Danu Temple is a famous Hindu temple situated lakeside of Beratan, offering beautiful panoramic views with the lake and mountains as a backdrop. When the lake water rises, the temple appears to float above the water. Tanah Lot Temple, famous among tourists, offers a spectacular sunset view. At some nooks of the coral reef around Tanah Lot Temple, there are holy tame snakes in black and white, believed by the local society to be deities’ property and guardians of the temple from bad influences.
  • Day 3: Free Program (B)
    Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a free program at your leisure, or join optional tours.
  • Day 4: Departure (B)
    Breakfast at the hotel. Free program at your leisure until check-out time (12 noon). Three hours before departure, our team will pick you up in the lobby for transfer to the airport.
