Destination Highlights

  • Day 01: Surabaya – Banyuwangi (L/D)
    – Arrive in the morning at Juanda Airport, Surabaya (please book a flight with ETA around 07:00 – 09:00).
    – Meet and greet with our tour guide.
    – Transfer to Banyuwangi City (approximately 8 hours by car/coach).
    – Lunch and dinner en route at a local restaurant.
    – Arrive in Banyuwangi City in the evening.
    – Overnight at your chosen hotel in Banyuwangi City.
    – Free program.
  • Day 02: Banyuwangi – Ijen Crater – Bromo (B/L/D)
    – Early morning wake-up call at 03:30 AM.
    – Breakfast at the hotel.
    – Depart by four-wheel drive vehicle to Pal Tuding, the last ranger post of Ijen National Park.
    – Begin a 90-minute hike to Ijen Crater, along a shady trail with spectacular views.
    – Explore the volcanic crater lake, with its eerie colors and vibrant yellow sulfur deposits.
    – Watch miners descend into the crater and carry up to 80 kilos of ore on bamboo baskets.
    – After exploring, return to the vehicle and transfer to Cemorolawang/Ngadisari village at Bromo (approximately 7 hours by car/coach).
    – Check into your chosen hotel at Mount Bromo.
    – Lunch and dinner en route at a local restaurant.
  • Day 03: Bromo Sunrise – Surabaya – Departure (B/L)
    – Early morning wake-up call at 03:00 AM.
    – Depart by local transport or four-wheel drive jeep to Mount Penanjakan, a viewing platform located at 2,750 meters above sea level.
    – Witness the spectacular sunrise and the serene view of Mount Bromo and its surroundings.
    – Drive down to the Sea of Sand and trek 1,500 meters across the sand to reach Mount Bromo (optional horseback riding available).
    – Climb 250 steps to reach the rim of the crater of Mount Bromo at 2,300 meters above sea level.
    – Return to the hotel for breakfast and shower.
    – Check out and transfer to Surabaya City (approximately 3.5 hours by car).
    – Lunch en route at a local restaurant.
    – Transfer to Surabaya Airport for your departure flight (please book a late afternoon return flight with ETD around 17:00 – 18:00).
    – End of services.

 

  • Child Policy:
    – 11 & 12 years old: Must use the extra bed rates.
    – 10 – 2 years old: Can use the child no bed rates.
    – Infants (below 23 months): Free of charge (FOC), otherwise child no bed rates apply.
