Destination Highlights

  • Day 01: Surabaya – Bromo (L/D)
    Arrive at Juanda Airport, Surabaya, where you will be greeted by our tour guide. Begin your Surabaya Discovery Tour with a visit to the Heroes Monument (Tugu Pahlawan), dedicated to those who perished in the Battle of Surabaya on 10 November 1945. Explore the Museum 10 November, which houses a collection of weapons wielded by Surabaya’s heroes. Next, stop at Sanggar Chinese Temple, known for its Golden Four Faces Buddha Statue and the 12-meter-tall Kwan Im Goddess Statue. Visit the Mosque & Tomb of Sunan Ampel, Surabaya’s oldest mosque, built in 1421 by Raden Rahmatullah. Learn about Sunan Ampel, a member of Walisongo who spread Islam in Java, and enjoy shopping in the Arab Quarter. Continue to the Submarine Monument (Monkasel), a real KRI Pasopati 410 Whiskey Class Russian Submarine preserved as a monument. Before heading to Mt. Bromo, visit Cheng Ho Mosque, the first mosque in the city, designed to resemble a Buddhist or Taoist temple. Transfer to Mt. Bromo (approximately 3.5 hours by car/coach). Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Check into your hotel at Mount Bromo.
  • Day 02: Bromo – Sidoarjo – Surabaya (B/L/D)
    Wake up early at 03:00 for the highlight of your tour: watching the glorious sunrise and the spectacular view of Mount Bromo and its surrounding vista. Depart by local transport or four-wheel-drive jeep to Mount Penanjakan, a viewing platform at 2,750 meters above sea level. From this vantage point, you will witness the breathtaking sunrise and the serene view of Mt. Bromo in the distance. Afterward, drive down to the sea of sand, where you will trek 1,500 meters across the sand to Mt. Bromo (optional horseback riding available). Climb 250 steps to reach the rim of Mt. Bromo’s crater, located 2,300 meters above sea level. The sunrise and surrounding views from this point are truly spectacular. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Check out and transfer to Sidoarjo City for shopping at Tanggulangin, known for its leather products at reasonable prices. Visit Mitra Shop for prawn and fish crackers and other traditional local snacks. Continue to Surabaya, with a final shopping stop at Mirota Art Shop & Batik Gallery for souvenirs. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight at your choice of hotels in Surabaya City.
  • Day 03: Surabaya – Transfer Out (B)
    After breakfast, enjoy free time at your leisure until your departure. You will be picked up by our tour guide and transferred to Surabaya Airport. End of services.

    – Children aged 11 & 12 years old must use extra bed rates.
    – Children aged 10 – 2 years old can use the child no bed rates.
    – Free of charge for infants below 23 months; otherwise, use child no bed rates.
