Destination Highlights

  • DAY 01: Kuala Lumpur – Shilin (D)
    Assemble at KLIA for your pleasant flight to Kunming.
  • Day 2: Shilin – Jiuxiang – Kunming (B/L/D)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Black Stone Forest: The entire area could be thought of as a giant Chinese garden.
    – Jiuxiang Scenic Area: Jiuxiang is confirmed to be the biggest cave clusters in China.
  • Day 3: Kunming – Dali (B/L/D)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Check-in point: Ideal State “Santorini”
    – Dali Ancient City (Cable Car not included): Famous for its cultural and historical points of interest.
  • DAY 04: Dali – Shangri-La (B/L/D)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Yangtze First Bend: The Yangtze River is blocked by the Hailuo Cliff at Shigu, Yunnan, which makes it turn roughly to the northeast, forming a rare great bay of “V” shape, known as the First Bay of the Yangtze (Pass By).
    – Tiger Leaping Gorge: A contender for the world’s deepest river canyon. Legend says that to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at its narrowest point, hence the name.
    – Visit a Tibetan family to experience the customs of the Tibetan people, appreciate Tibetan costumes, and enjoy dance performances.
    – Dukezong Ancient Town: The best-preserved and largest Tibetan residential area in China.
    – Kameyama Park: The park is at the end of the ancient city, east of the famous Shangri-La Kameyama Park. The park entrance has a large pool, clear and translucent, is an ancient feature.
  • DAY 05: Shangri-La – Lijiang (B/L/D)
    – Song Chan Lin Temple (Includes Buggy Car).
    – Napa Lake: A seasonal plateau lake located in the northwest of Shangri-La City, surrounded by mountains on three sides.
    – Old Town of Lijiang-Square Street: A well-preserved old city of ethnic minorities with a rich culture.
    – Black Dragon Pool Park: According to legend, the palace of the Black Dragon King of Lijiang is situated here, and there is a pool in the park.
  • DAY 06: Lijiang (B/L/D)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Shuhe Ancient Town: An important component of Lijiang, a well-preserved example of a town along the ancient tea route, and one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi People.
    – Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Park (Includes Cable Car): One of the lowest latitude Eurasia distributions of snow-capped mountains in the world.
    – Blue Moon Valley (Includes Electrical Car): On sunny days, the water appears blue, hence the name Blue Moon Valley.
    – White Water Terrace + GanHaiZi: Also known as ‘Natural Alpine Farm’. It is surrounded by mountains and offers one of the best views of Yu Long Snow Mountain Glacier Park.
    – Yushui Village: The origin of the Nakhi’s culture, a shrine for worshipping gods, and an important location for Dongba Cultural activities.
    – Impression of Lijiang Show: A magnificent outdoor singing and dancing performance demonstrating the tradition and lifestyle of the local ethnic people, directed by Hollywood movie director Zhang Yimou.
  • Day 07: Lijiang – Dali – Kunming (B/L/D)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Check-in point: Erhai and Three Pagodas (View).
    – Yan’s Bai Minority Home Visit (Includes Bai Minority Three Course Tea + Song and Dance Performance).
  • Day 08: Kunming – Kuala Lumpur (B/L)
    After breakfast, transfer to visit:
    – Da Guan Lou Park.
    – Golden Hall Scenic Area.
    – Golden Horse & Jade Rooster Archway.
    – East and West Temple Pagoda: One of the earliest created ancient towers in Yunnan.
    – Jinri Building + Nanping Pedestrian Street.
    After lunch, transfer to the International Airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.
