Spanish is the official language, their cuisine is known for beef, asados (barbecues), empanadas, and Malbec wine.

  • Day 1: PARIS to TROMSØ
    Welcome to your Arctic adventure. Meet the Ponant representative at the airport for your selected flight. Upon arrival in Tromsø, enjoy leisure time to explore this gateway to the Arctic. Embarkation begins at 4:00 pm, with departure set for 6:00 pm.
  • Day 2: BEYOND THE ARCTIC CIRCLE
    Discover Narvik, nestled in the heart of impressive mountains that plunge into the Ofotfjord. Explore the historic Ofoten Railway towards Sweden or embark on a journey to the Polar Park, home to Arctic wildlife.
  • Day 3: LOFOTEN ISLANDS
    Sail beyond the Arctic Circle to the Lofoten Islands, a place truly in “another world.” Choose from three shore excursions: the charms of Lofoten, an adventurous RIB boat ride in Leknes, or an Aurora Borealis hunt.
  • Day 4: TROLLFJORDEN
    Sail through the legendary Trollfjorden, a 2km long fjord accessible via the Raftsund Strait, flanked by towering rock faces. According to legend, trolls guard this majestic place, creating a magical atmosphere.
  • Day 5: HAMMERFEST
    Visit Hammerfest, located on the north-western coast of the island of Kvaløya, beyond the 70th parallel north. Often considered the northernmost town in the world, it offers a unique glimpse into Arctic life.
  • Day 6: SAILING BY BEAR ISLAND
    Sail near the coastlines of Bjørnøya (Bear Island), the southernmost island of Svalbard. From your ship, observe this isolated piece of land discovered in 1596 by Dutch navigator Willem Barents while searching for the Northwest Passage.
  • Day 7: HONNINGSVÅG
    Arrive in Honningsvåg, halfway between Oslo and the North Pole. Here, you can witness the Northern Lights and explore immense cliffs teeming with puffins, gannets, and cormorants. Choose from three shore excursions: Nordkapp, Kamøyvær Village Discovery, or a King Crab Safari.
  • Days 8-9: ALTA
    Alta, located beyond the Arctic Circle, is the biggest city in Norway’s Finnmark county. Meet the local Sami people and choose from three shore excursions: Sami camp discovery, snowshoe hiking and ice fishing, or dog sledding.
  • Days 10-11: RETURN TO PARIS
    Disembark in the morning and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Paris. Reflect on the unforgettable memories of your Arctic expedition, where you experienced the enchantment of breathtaking landscapes and astonishing wildlife in the heart of the Arctic realm.

    Morning flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival at Ushuaia, free at leisure to explore
    Ushuaia or sign up for an optional excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Embarkation from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
  • Day 3 & 4 CROSSING THE DRAKE PASSAGE (B/L/D)
    Get yourself familiarise with the ship your ship and deepen your knowledge of the Antarctic through lecture & expedition leader.

  • Day 5 – 9 ANTARCTIC PENINSULA (B/L/D)
    Reach the mythical Antarctic Peninsula. Throughout your adventure in this icy realm, find yourself in the heart of a spectacular decor in subtle shades of blue and white, and go on a zodiac adventure to discover the exceptional wildlife such as Minke whales, Humpback whales & orcas.
    Guest will also get a chance to land on this icy realm and meet with the friendly penguins, seals and elephant seals
  • Day 10 -11 CROSSING THE DRAKE PASSAGE (B/L/D)
  • Day 12 USHUAIA – BUENOS AIRES – HOME (B)
    Cruise arrive in Ushuaia. Relax and have a last stroll at Ushuaia, also best know as the ” Southern Tip of the world” the before boarding the intra-flight to Buenos Aires in the afternoon. Relax & freshen up and prepare to depart to Kuala Lumpur on evening flight or perhaps add an extra night before heading home.

    During your day at sea, make the most of the many services and activities on board. Relaxation in the spa or stay in shape in the fitness centre. This day no port of call. Do some shopping in the boutique.
  • Day 6-8 SOUTH GEORGIA (B/L/D)
    Aboard your ship, discover South Georgia, a region formed by an underwater mountain chain that extends from the Andes to the Antarctic Peninsula. All the wildlife
    of the Far South can be found there: king and Gentoo penguins, elephant seals, fur seals… You might get the chance to discover the majestic glaciers of Gold Harbour
    and the vast plains of Fortuna Bay. If you are fortunate enough to land at Salisbury Plain, you can expect a wonderful spectacle: more than 300,000 king penguins,
    which you will recognise by the bright orange mark on their head and neck, have taken up residence there.
  • Day 9-10 AT SEA (B/L/D)

  • Day 11-15 ANTARCTICA PENINSULA (B/L/D)
    Arrive at the mythical icy realm Antarctic Peninsula you will find yourself in the heart of a spectacular decor in subtle shades of blue and white, surrounded by exceptional
    wildlife. Penguins, humpback whales, seals and giant petrels are at home here, as are elephant seals, fur seals, Antarctic minke whales, and orcas. Guests will go zodiac
    outings or landing.
  • Day 16-17 2 DAYS DRAKE PASSAGE – 48HRS (B/L/D)
    If there is one place, one sea, one waterway dreaded by tourists, researchers and hardened seafarers alike, it is undoubtedly Drake Passage. Situated at the latitude of
    the infamous Furious Fifties winds, between Cape Horn and the South Shetland Islands, it is the shortest route to connect Antarctica to South America.
