ARRIVE BUDAPEST
- Budapest: Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube into Buda and Pest. Buda is the oldest and most scenic part of the capital.
City Orientation Tour: Photo stop at Gellert hill – view the scenery of Budapest, Hero’s Square, view the Chain Bridge and Elisabeth Bridge, Parliament House.
Fisherman’s Bastion (entrance): A white, neo-Romanesque, limestone structure with sweeping staircases and conical towers.
St Matthias Church (entrance): Covered in Art Nouveau frescoes from top to bottom in the style of the 14th century originals, this church was the coronation church for the last Austrian Emperors.

City orientation tour: Included Heldenplatz Monument for a picture of the Hofburg Palace, winter residence of the Austrian Imperial family. Drive along the Ring Boulevard to view the Parliament building, State Opera House, the OPEC building, and St Stephen’s Cathedral.

- Hallstatt: Austria’s oldest Alpine village as the arresting scenery of this tiny village tucked between mountains and waters comes to view. In 1997 listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Funicular ride: To Hallstatt skywalk lookout, from here a great view down onto Hallstatt village and visit Europe’s oldest salt mines (note: Salt mines close during winter)
Salzburg: Place that the “Sound of Music” were filmed.

Fussen: Is a Bavarian town in Germany, just north of the Austrian border.

Neuschwanstein Castle (entrance): King Ludwig’s fairytale Castle, which is perched on its craggy outcrop high above a sparkling lake. This castle served as the model for Walt Disney’s Cinderella’s Castle.
Experience the horse carriage (one way): Enjoy breathtaking scenery. (Subject to weather condition)
Garmisch – Partenkirchen: A ski town, known as the site of the 1936 Winter Olympic Games.
Zugspitze Mountain: Board the cable car up the 2962 meters to Germany’s tallest peak. The Zugspitze marks the international border between Germany and Austria. From the top you’ll have breathtaking views of the Alps.
